![]() It’s stated as parts per million by volume (PPM V)ĭew point is another variable measure of humidity. Unlike relative humidity or dew point, moisture content doesn’t change with pressure or temperature: it’s a measure of the actual molecules of water in the gas. Moisture content is an important parameter for many processes too. The effects temperature has on relative humidity The %rh is a measure of how close to saturation point the humidity in the gas is. If the temperature is lowered or the pressure increase, the saturation point changes and the %rh will also increase. The saturation point varies depending on the temperature of the gas and the pressure with higher temperatures and lower pressures allowing more moisture to be held in the gas as humidity. As with dissolving solids in a liquid, a gas can only hold a certain amount of dissolved moisture before it starts to condense back to liquid phase. Relative humidity is a measure of the humidity in terms of its saturation point. There is always a level of humidity in the air around us, but when it comes to industrial processes, the levels of humidity often need to be controlled. Humidity is simply moisture that is dissolved in a gas. What are the differences between humidity, dew point and relative humidity? As well as the term ‘hygrometer’ it may also be called a: Hygrometry is the measurement of the moisture content of gases, and a hygrometer senses, measures and outputs or displays the relative or absolute humidity in the gas. Process moisture is often a contaminant and can severely damage processes, equipment and reduce product quality. It is difficult to measure accurately since moisture is directly affected by temperature and pressure.Unlike other process variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow, moisture has two unique characteristics: (If you want to find out about meteorological applications for dew point measurements, here is a short explanation from the UK Met Office.) It’s a common parameter in meteorology, hence the name ‘dew point’ but in this article we are going to look at why it’s important to a wide variety of industrial processes. Where the condensate is ice, this is known as the frost point.’ The NPL defines dew point as: ‘The temperature at which dew, or condensation, forms as you cool a gas.

![]() To start our pick of the best, we’re going back to Twitter. YouTuber Shared the glow-up of everyone’s favorite groundskeeper. If only raytracing could improve everyone’s facial features like this. Twitter meme staple He also gave Hagrid a facelift, using a dazzling image of Alpha Omegasin. I hope you found this ps1 hagrid meme article enjoyable.‘Yassifying’ faces (giving them a complete makeover with lipstick, eyeliner, and other bits of makeup) is fun enough, but to see the stark contrast of clean-shaven, ready-up Hagrid is something else. Hagrid memes are some of the funniest memes around. The meme typically features Hagrid saying something nonsensical or making a silly face. This is ameme based on the character Hagrid from the Harry Potter series. We need to enjoy the moment and make the most of our lives, or we’ll end up missing out on a lot. It’s important to not get too caught up in our dreams and goals and forget to live in the present. In fact, the not-so-aptly named Fang seemed terrified of Hagrid’s interest in dangerous things – whelping in fear whenever he had to take a little trip to the Forbidden forest. Hagrid’s boarhound Fang was probably his least ferocious animal friend, and for that, we thank him. He is loyal to Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix. Hagrid is a big, burly man with a hairy face and a beard. Dumbledore has kept Hagrid working and living at Hogwarts ever since. Hagrid was expelled from the school after being set up by Voldemort. He is a loyal and grateful servant to Dumbledore. Hagrid is a groundskeeper and teacher at Hogwarts. It would be exciting to see this confirmed in future books or movies! Given his kindness, noble nature and bravery, this makes sense. Hagrid’s Hogwarts house is never mentioned in the books, but many fans believe he was in Gryffindor. Learning about him after his death would be a great addition to the House. Regulus Black is a great example of a good Slytherin, but he never physically appears in the book. Hagrid being a Slytherin would be excellent for representation, as the number of good Slytherins in the book is pretty low. What will come, will come, and we must be ready to meet it when it does. Hagrid’s words ring true in every situation we face in life. He was an incredible person who will be truly missed by everyone. Robbie Coltrane was an amazing actor and comedian who gained worldwide recognition in the 2000s for playing Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter film series. We should just focus on being the best version of ourselves and living our lives to the fullest. There will always be people out there who will try to bring us down for being different, but they’re not worth our time or energy. We all have our own unique quirks and aspects that make us who we are, and we should never be ashamed of that. This is a great quote that I think everyone should live by. Harry knows that Hagrid is innocent and is determined to find out who the real culprit is. Harry is shocked to learn that Hagrid was expelled from Hogwarts because another student, Tom Riddle, accused him of opening the Chamber of Secrets and releasing a monster that killed a girl. Hagrid is truly a one-of-a-kind character, and that is why he is so loved by fans. He is always there for Harry and his friends, and his sense of humor always makes them laugh. Hagrid is one of the most beloved characters in the Harry Potter series because he is both kind and funny. This quote perfectly sums up their relationship and how Hagrid has always been there for Harry, even when others have not. Hagrid is one of the most important people in Harry’s life as he is the one who introduces him to the wizarding world and helps him to navigate through all the challenges he faces. This meme features a picture of Hagrid, the character from the Harry Potter series, with a caption that says “You dun it nao, Arry Porrer.” The meme is typically used to express frustration or to tell someone to stop doing something. However, some popular PS1 Hagrid memes include: “You’re a wizard, Harry!” and “Hagrid, the friendly giant”. There is no exact answer to this question, as it is dependant on what the individual person prefers. ![]() Turn on apps from unknown sources and click the “YES” tab on the screen. ![]() Select the “settings” tab on the home screen followed by the tabs “system settings>expert mode>addons.”.Next, launch the Kodi app (preferred version).Get your password and username, and log in to the website for verification.Open the “The Beast” website portal and register for free. The installation is quite similar to the above process. Finally, on July 20, 1907, shortly before statehood, the Busch Post Office had its name officially changed to Elk City Post Office. Consequently, on many early maps of Oklahoma Territory the names of " Crowe" or " Busch" are seen instead of " Elk City". Even though the town of Elk City has had only one name, its early settlers were served by a post office named Crowe, and later, one named Busch. I am informed by our guide that five years since, elk were frequently seen in the Wichita Mountains but now they are seldom met with in this part of the country." Confusion also stems from the early post offices that served the residents of the town. ![]() On May 31, in the official journal of the expedition, Marcy wrote about the productive soil, the dense grass, and the vertical red clay banks of a "bold running stream of good water." Continuing, he wrote, "From the circumstance of having seen elk tracks upon the stream we passed in our march today, I have called it 'Elk Creek'. Marcy and his troops had left the Wichita Mountains and the waterway which he named Otter Creek during his exploration, and they were traveling northwest along the North Fork of the Red River. Marcy who was leading an expedition to explore the Red River in 1852. Elk City was so named because it is located at the head of Elk Creek, which in turn was named by U.S. There is some confusion about how Elk City got its name. On that day, the townsite company sold $32,000 worth of property (about $870,000 in 2012 dollars) and continued doing a good business for some time thereafter. By this time, hundreds of prospective purchasers had built a tent city. Probably the most important day in Elk City's history is March 20, 1901, the date the first lots were sold by the Choctaw Townsite and Development Company. These men with great foresight determined that the area at the source of Elk Creek would be an ideal location for a town, so they came to the area to purchase lands from the homesteaders who had claims along the railroad. They formed the Choctaw Townsite and Development Company. ![]() The creation of Elk City was an idea conceived by land promoters from Weatherford, Oklahoma, when they learned that the Choctaw, Oklahoma and Gulf Railroad (CO & G) was coming to the area (in 1898, the CO & G Railroad completed its western route to Weatherford beginning in 1901, it continued building west). Prior to this time, many early ranchers had driven cattle over the Great Western Cattle Trail from Texas to Dodge City, Kansas, the present townsite of Elk City being in the direct path of that famous trail. Founding to statehood Įlk City's history dates back to the days immediately following the opening of the Cheyenne-Arapaho reservation in western Oklahoma Territory on April 19, 1892, when the first white settlers made their appearance. Because Coronado's route across the plains is speculative, it is quite possible that the expedition passed through present-day Elk City or the nearby area. The Spanish conquistador was traveling northeast across the prairie in search of a place called Quivira, a city said to be fabulously wealthy with gold. In 1541, Francisco Vásquez de Coronado became the first known European to pass through the area. One of the most innovative minds of this era was Douglas Englebart, an American engineer. While it was fully digital, the program instructions still had to be manually set into the machine using a plug board.Ĭommercial computer use at this time was limited, though some big corporations would use computers for big money items, such as finding oil deposits. In 1946, the first fully-digital computer, Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer (ENIAC), was developed in the United States.ĮNIAC was designed specifically to compute values for artillery range tables, so it lacked many features that would have made it a generally useful computer. Others were used for cryptography to decode enemy messages (as seen in the 2014 movie “Imitation Game”). Some were put on submarines to calculate the path of torpedoes during World War II. In the early 1940s, computers were primarily used for the war effort. This era represented the move from analog, or mechanical, to digital. Machines in this era were fed instructions for the calculations through punch cards (paper tape with holes punched in readable patterns) and were powered by cranking a handle. Similar machines were created by the late-1800s, and were used to perform differential equations to calculate things like tide variations and artillery paths. The Difference Engine was used to solve polynomial functions. The first concept of a computer, the Babbage Difference Engine pictured below, was developed in the 1820s by Charles Babbage. This era represents the origins of computing – computing has a history that goes back all the way to the 1800s far before modern computers were invented. Below, I’ve broken the history of computing into three eras, each of which had a technological advancement that has spurred the evolution of text editors. To understand modern text editors, you first have to understand where they came from. In this blog post I’ll discuss some of the history of computing with respect to text editors, and the pros and cons of two of the text editors that developers have a love/hate relationship with – eMacs and Vim. The BEATLES (‘The White Album’) is still at number one in the charts, but the ever-prolific foursome regroup in London for a new project, initially titled Get Back. For McCartney in particular the temperament and genius are tied tightly to his commitment.
